AS part efforts aimed towards a successful Hajj, Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has approved the appointment of the former military administrator of Bauchi State, Navy Captain Rasheed Adisa Raji as the Amir-uI-Hajj of the year’s holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

Being the Amir-uI-Hajj, Raji’s responsibility is to lead the state delegation of pilgrims to perform a successful 2015 Hajj exercise.

The Governor said: “I wish the Amir-UI-Hajj and other pilgrims a worthwhile and rewarding pilgrimage.”

He urged them to adhere strictly to the tenets of Islam and abide by the laws of the host country.

Amosun further advice the citizens of Ogun State to be good ambassadors of the state and the country as a whole.
