Awka Millennium City (AMC) has been crowned Nigeria’s Best New City, a recognition that cements its growing reputation as one of the country’s most forward-looking urban developments.
The award was presented during the recently concluded ‘Unleashed 4 Takeover 3.0’, where AMC stood out for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and future-focused city planning.
Receiving the honour on behalf of the AMC team were Chief Executive Officer Mr. Chimmy Ogbuebile, Group Chief Operating Officer Mr. Okey Nwankwo, and Sales Supervisor Ms. Chioma Obiekwe—three of the key figures credited with driving the project’s vision.
“What we’re building in Awka isn’t just a development,” said Mr. Ogbuebile. “It’s a movement toward excellence, sustainability, and smart living for the future Nigeria deserves.”
Awka Millennium City has been designed with cutting-edge infrastructure, including integrated power solutions, fibre-optic networks, controlled access systems, and underground utilities, all set within a secure and liveable environment. These features are not only setting new standards for urban development in Nigeria but also positioning the city as a model for others to follow.
This latest accolade is expected to further attract interest from discerning investors, developers, and families seeking a contemporary lifestyle underpinned by technology and thoughtful planning.
With this recognition, AMC continues to establish itself as more than a real estate project—it is now being seen as a transformative force in Nigeria’s urban development landscape.
