Aniama Club secures three distribution transformers for Onicha-Ugbo Community

Mr. Nwanne Monye the current President of Aniami Club Onicha Ugbo

In a significant corporate social responsibility effort, Aniami Club has secured the allocation of three distribution transformer substations for the Onicha-Ugbo community, aiming to address longstanding electricity issues and improve quality of life for residents.

Onicha-Ugbo, which has long struggled with low current and frequent power outages, has seen these disruptions impact daily activities, businesses, and economic growth. Many residents have had to rely on costly alternative energy sources, adding financial strain to their households.

Engr. Udeh, speaking at an Onicha-Ugbo Progressive Union meeting, encouraged residents to remain patient, stating that this initiative marks the beginning of improved and more reliable electricity in the community. He affirmed Aniami Club’s ongoing commitment to enhancing power infrastructure and supporting the community’s needs.

The transformers are set to be installed in key areas across the community: one in Uso Issele Uku in Ishiekpe village, another along the Lagos-Asaba Expressway, and the third in Ogbekenu village. This deployment is expected to greatly improve power stability, reduce outages, and boost local economic activities.

In addition to facilitating the installation, Aniami Club has pledged to support the ongoing maintenance of these transformers, ensuring their longevity and continued benefit for the community.

Established in Nigeria on November 30, 1994, Aniami Club has a longstanding history of community impact. The club regularly provides scholarships to underprivileged students and has undertaken various community development projects, uplifting the living standards for many in the area.

The installation of the transformers is already underway, marking a new chapter of progress and enhanced infrastructure for Onicha-Ugbo.
