Outgoing and incoming Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have resolved to replicate positive governance strategies in all APC-controlled states.

This is contained in a communiqué released shortly after a one-day retreat attended by the APC governors in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to the communiqué, the governors agreed to embark on a peer review mechanism to facilitate and replicate positive governance strategies and policies in all their respective states.

They further resolved that: ”All those who hold leadership positions in the party should be ready to instigate the right followership that will produce results.

”The country cannot decide to entirely ban importation of foreign products but look for ways to create competitive markets to compete with imported products.

”The Nigerian economy needs to be diversified especially towards agriculture.”

Also, the governors agreed to implement uniform programmes that will impact on the lives of the governed as from May 29.

They further agreed that from the day of inauguration, their activities would set the pace for others to follow hence the need for action and not a replication of promises.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that resource persons were on hand to brain storm with the governors on insecurity, economy, governance, and infrastructure development, among others.

The retreat was declared opened by the Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

NAN reports that the retreat had all out-going governors and newly elected governors in attendance apart from the Kaduna State Gov.-elect, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.

Is APC serious .It remains just nine days to inauguration and they are brain storming on how to govern. So they don’t have blueprint on how handle their election promises to Nigerians.Nigerians are in for rude shock from 29th May.The most indebted states in the country is APC states , for instance, Kano state is reported to be owning about 200billion naira..This is just one , IMO, EDO AND OSUN is heavily indebted also.In nine days time, the baton will be passover and Nigerians will see APC and their brain storming.

Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadearship of your clueless and failed Jonathan is owing internal debt of N5t not to talk of huge external debt. You are now criticising APC government that has not been sworn in. You will be ashamed of yourself when u see the big difference between APC good/progressive government and PDP failed government.

Can’t you criticize objectively for once without being narrow minded? Your parochial views are skewed and laced with tribal sentiments, your and your people must realized that elections are over and now all hand must be on deck to salvage the nation. Nigeria has comes to stay and you people must deal with that.
