THE member representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Gbenga Ashafa, has charged the 18 ministerial nominees confirmed by the Senate to deploy their expertise in fulfilling the promises of the Muhammadu Buhari-led government and make the Nigerian economy ‘competitive and productive.’

In a statement yesterday, he said: “While I recognise that the task before them is both herculean and complex, I am confident in their ability to succeed and set Nigeria on the path of greatness. With our fearless and visionary leader, President Buhari at the fore of this team, ably supported by the erudite Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, I am more confident that this new government will deliver on its campaign promises and make our economy competitive and productive.”
