• Calls For Immediate Implementation of Niger Delta Leaders’ Demands
• Militant Group Regrets Alleged Humiliation Of Leaders At Talks

The Niger Delta Avengers, yesterday, lauded the Niger Delta elders for the demands they presented on behalf of the region, asking government to begin immediate implementation of the demands for peace to reign in the region.

Then group, which stressed that the Federal Government needs the region for its survival, however, warned those working against the interest of the region to desist in their own interest.

According to the Avengers, the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), led by Chief Edwin Clark deserves kudos by all well meaning Nigerians for presenting such minimal demands before the government of Nigeria, to pacify the people of the region “that has been continuously raped and dehumanized since 1914, because the ‘Golden Egg’ she lays is the commonwealth of the nation.”

Meanwhile, another militant group, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM)
has alleged that the leaders were humiliated during the meeting with President Buhari.

According to the spokesman of the NDGJM, Gen. Aldo Agbalaja “The humiliation meted out to PANDEF by the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, did not come to the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate as a surprise, we expected it because we know, even the government knows the character and intent of the man and most of those he led to the meeting. We warned and the government/the world gave heed. The only painful part is the fact that the humiliation is stamped on the collective image of our people.”

The NDGJM dared President Buhari and his administration to attempt or fully carry out his military action against their people and see the response that will follow.

The Avengers, in a statement by their spokesman, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, said the demands would lead to the roadmap to bring about the desired peaceful atmosphere that the nation needed, if there is sincerity.

The Avengers warned that “the days of buying peace through unpatriotic Niger Deltans, to extract our resources are gone for good”.

Agbinibo stated: “Since the day crude oil and gas resources was discovered for the past 60 years, we are only asking for portable water, electricity, affordable healthcare, quality education etc; until 1994, when our people were visited by state sponsored military terror by the regime of General Sani Abacha, a regime President Muhammadu Buhari served as one of his henchmen and chaired the Petroleum Trust Fund.

“This is the 21st century Niger Delta; we gave the Nigerian State and her International Oil Corporations freedom, peaceful atmosphere over time, but was betrayed. We are not deterred by President Muhammadu Buhari mulling over continuous military operation.”

Soldiers yesterday, allegedly invaded Tebujor Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West council, Delta State

The Guardian learnt that heavily armed troops in several newly acquired gunboats stormed Tebujor

A community leader who does not want his name in print said the Nigerian military was still ransacking the town and arresting innocent people in the community.

He disclosed that many people have ran into nearby swamp, for safety. He said there is panic and pandemonium in the entire Kingdom.

Four persons have so far been arrested while casualties have not been confirmed.
Attempts to make the Delta JTF commander shed light on the invasion was fruitless as he did not pick his call nor respond to several text messages.

Why are there no Nigerian troops arresting and molesting people in Lagos, Owerri, Calabar, Sokoto etc. It is disgusting how Nigerians use the word ¨innocent¨ nowadays. People who go against the law of the land do not fall under the category of innocent but lowlife midget with wayward mentalities. You are deprived and frustrated, understood but who isnt? Even in the so called advanced countries of this world there are people who are poorer than the poorest person in Nigeria but you do not see then blame everything else that move for their misfortunes or call for Obama, Angela Merkel or Theresa May. etc´s head. Everyone cannot be rich and government does not owe anyone any handout because oil is in their backyard. The Saudis, Venezuelans, Canadian, Russians etc do not do it because it is regarded as a NATIONAL ASSET to be shared by all.

Jonathan was president, Diezani was oil minister, how many oil well did anyone from the SS acquire under his administration? All anyone heard at the time was people like the former NIMASA boss ¨spraying¨ money here and there since ostentation is the reason Nigeria politicians steal. With all the opportunities the Jonathan era gave to a few people from the region to enrich themselves NOT a single one of them have a single factory in the SS today yet they are all being exposed one after the other by the EFCC for stealing so much so what have you all done with the money? Is Buhari also responsible for these? Tompolo is a billionaire, but from doing what? Melford goodhead(as if there has ever been anything good about his head) Dokubo and whatever rag head name he call himself now has since abandoned his people taken his loot to create jobs in Cotonou. Is Buhari also responsible for that?

My people think, use your heads instead of allowing yourselves to be guided by unfounded emotions and the lack of
common sense that come with that.

And NO, Nigeria does not need Niger Delta to survive. Other countries in Africa does not have Niger Delta and many of them are doing better than Nigeria!

“Nigeria needs Niger Delta to survive” therefore the so called Avengers are out to milk those of us true Nigerian to pulp. Thanks Avenger members, who do not count themselves as legitimate Nigerians. They are supposedly foreigners in their own land.

The territory called Nigeria is well structured as said by sultan of sokoto in the sense that each region is well defined – east, west, north. And the only instrument for regional developments as he said, is Republics. Which eastern region have decided for Republic Of Biafra.

The basic problem is not politicians as he said but inherited corrupt system. No one can be free of guilt under corrupt system. Even Mandela’s administration was not free of corruption because of the inherited corrupt system – a point I emphasized in my book THE AFRICAN VICTORY – e-book version now available on 900books.com.

You sent your papa message, then you blow up his balcony while at the meeting and you wonder why he was humiliated while at the meeting. Your papa is not in control of his household, and is not respected at home so why should outsiders treat him with respect? Continue.

It is not surprising that the agitators have not in the past sixty years come under an umbrella to demand anything good for that part of the country. From the message above and the visit of the elders from the area to the president, it is clear that each group or individual are fighting for their own interest and not the area. What did these elders demanded from the government, oil blocks? There is one fundamental question that the gun carrying touts should ask their former and current leaders. That is; what have they done with the monies – allocations and other derivatives – that has been sent to that area in the last sixty years that run into billions of dollars not Naira. Until this simple question could be asked and answered, no amount of fractions in the gun carrying touts that is going to solve the under-development of that area. Even if all the oil blocks in that area is given to each household, the area will still not be developed if the mindset of the past and present set of leaders from that area remain same. How many factories or schools has people like Tompolo or Dakunbo built with all the billion of dollars contract given to them by GEJ? That answered it all – it seems that people from that area are suffering from alcohol induced syndrome that affected their brain development during conception, This is not meant to be derogatory statement but something that the government should take serious and find means of eradicating it.
