Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammad has promised to focus on a viable economy with plans to boost internally generated revenue (IGR) and jobs for the youths.In this regard, he resumed work by receiving a team of Economic Advisory Committee chaired by Professor Usman Bugaje at Government House Bauchi yesterday.

He said he would work with technocrats to implement the economic blueprint in collaboration with the private sector and reassured that he would provide the right leadership to harness the state’s potentials with regards to expanding the frontiers of an agro-based economy.

Speaking, Bugaje advised the governor to use the state’s comparative advantage in agriculture to boost revenue and create employment opportunities for the people of Bauchi.
