The discourse will focus on challenges in Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications sector, aiming to explore solutions for brands to stay resilient amidst economic shifts.
With the theme, “Rebuilding Consumer Confidence: Addressing Policy Impact and Market Realities,” the conference will analyze how policies, such as adjustments in interest rates, tax reforms, and subsidy removals, are impacting consumer spending and disposable income.
Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, Chairman of Odu’a Group and former Commissioner for Commerce in Ogun State, will deliver the keynote speech. Other experts, including Mr. Damola R. Salvador, CEO of Digisplash; Mr. Akonte Ekine, CEO of Absolute PR; and Mr. Adetola Odusote, Partner at CMC Connect LLP, will join as panelists.
BJAN Chairperson, Clara Chinwe Okoro said the conference will focus on the imperatives in developing how government policies such as interest rate adjustments, tax policies and subsidy removal influence disposable income and consumer spending. She highlighted the need for adaptive brand strategies to navigate Nigeria’s evolving market landscape.
