The Borno Police Command on Sunday confirmed the killing of nine persons after a suspected Boko Haram insurgents’ attack in Mailari village in Konduga Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno.

Mr Aderemi Opadoku, the Commissioner of Police said this while speaking with newsmen in Maiduguri.

“Today Sept. 27, 22015 at about a.m. suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Mailari village in Konduga LGA.

“Nine persons were reported killed while 10 were injured. The injured victims are now being treated at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital,” he said.

Opadokun added: “security has already been beefed up to forestall a recurrence while investigation is in progress.”
