Bola-Audu reassures ASCSN members of continued leadership
The incumbent National President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Innocent Bola-Audu, has reassured members and supporters that his tenure does not end on July 29, 2024, but instead marks the beginning of the election of new leaders within the Association.
In a statement released by his Strategic Media Group in Abuja, Bola-Audu referenced Rule 8 of the Association’s Constitution, which grants him the authority to preside over and lead the ASCSN members to the National Delegate Conference. This conference is the highest decision-making body of the Association and is responsible for conducting the elections.

Bola-Audu highlighted his constitutional duty to preside over meetings of the Central Working Committee, National Executive Council (NEC), and the National Delegate Conference. He emphasised that this mandate is supported by the Association’s Constitution and a subsisting judgement from the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.
He called on members to remain steadfast and resist any actions that contravene the Constitution and the Court’s judgement, warning that such actions would only worsen the existing tensions within the Union.

Expressing gratitude for the continued support from members, Bola-Audu encouraged them to remain calm and dismiss any insinuations that his leadership would be undermined after July 29.
“God is involved in this struggle, and we have no doubt that light will triumph over darkness,” Bola-Audu declared, reaffirming his commitment to leading the Association through the upcoming election process.
