President Muhammadu Buhari, his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate president, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Dogara, are expected to attend the burial of late Pa Pius Ngige this weekend, Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, has said.
Pa Ngige passed on last month at the age of 105 years, and his remains would be laid to rest on Saturday.
Speaking at country home in Alor, Idemili South council area, Senator Ngige said that Federal Government’s delegation to the ceremony would be led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal, while governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano would be the major host.
He said the event would be President Buhari’s first visit to Anambra State since winning the 2015 election.
