Buhari sends names of second set of ministerial nominees

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent in the second batch of ministerial nominees list.
The new list which was received by Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki at 4.24 pm at the National Assembly was sent through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Senior Special Assistants to the National Assembly on Senate and House of Representatives, Senator Solomon Ita Enang and Abdulrahman Kawu.
Responding to questions from journalists later, Special adviser to the Senate President on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, said:
“The list has been received by the Senate President. We received it at 4:24pm. And the list was brought by the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari. He was accompanied by the SSA to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator ita Enang and his counterpart in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulrahman Sumaila Kawu.
On whether the list just sent would cover the s there an assurance that this is the remaining 15 States where ministerial nominees were yet to be selected from, Olaniyonu saod:
”We don’t know until the Senate President opens the envelop tomorrow. We don’t know the number contained. We just assumed that that is the last batch. I am not sure it will extend to a third batch”.
