THE Adamawa state lawmaker representing Demsa constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mr.Lumsambani Dilli, has said that the anti-corruption war of President Muhammadu Buhari, is not only selective, but that it is a revenge game designed to harass and intimidate PDP members and top government officials of the past government.

Dilli, who spoke to a select group of journalists yesterday in Yola,
pointed out that the selected manner the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) is arresting PDP members was a clear signal that the present government was only hiding under the cover of anti-corruption war to intimidate PDP members and officials of the past government.

“Since they started the Buhari’s purported fight against corruption,
there is no single member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that is being arrested. But 98 per cent of today APC were all PDP members and majority of them serve in the past government. So, how come that under Buhari, they are all saints? Even some of his ministers have clear cases of corruption. But Buhari’s government has provided a cover for them”, he stated.
