The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Saturday’s Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-Election, Hon Olatunji Adewale, popularly known as Murphy, has lost his polling unit.

Adewale, who cast his vote at Ward 10, Unit 27, has 6 votes, while the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Folajinmi Oyekunle, has 9 votes.

The Labour Party candidate has two votes. This brings the total number of valid votes to 17 from the 248 voters who registered at the polling unit.

Results collated from the polling units so far indicate that the PDP candidate is in an early lead as vote counting begins.
