Christ Embassy targets 50 million Nigerians in expansive new charity initiative

Christ Embassy has announced plans to embark on what it describes as one of the largest philanthropic initiatives ever undertaken in Nigeria, with a target of reaching 50 million Nigerians and 500 million people globally.

The initiative, unveiled in Lagos, is expected to focus on humanitarian outreach, social welfare and community development across underserved populations in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

According to the ministry, the project is designed to provide essential support and relief to vulnerable communities while promoting compassion, generosity and collective responsibility.

Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Daysman Oyakhilome said the programme is rooted in the ministry’s spiritual mission.

“God asked us to do it because we are the light of the world,” he said.

The organisation noted that its existing global structure and outreach network position it to mobilise volunteers, partnerships and resources on a large scale.

Christ Embassy has, over the years, conducted various humanitarian and evangelical programmes across multiple countries, with activities spanning healthcare support, educational assistance and welfare interventions.

The ministry stated that aspects of the initiative are already being implemented through ongoing outreach activities in communities across Nigeria and internationally.

It also encouraged individuals and organisations interested in supporting the programme to participate through available partnership and contribution channels.

If fully realised at the proposed scale, the initiative would rank among the most extensive faith-based humanitarian outreach programmes undertaken by a religious organisation linked to Nigeria.
