Clergy rallies Nigerians to good values
General Overseer of The Calvary Bible Church, Olumide Emmanuel, has urged Nigerians to bridge the gap between their desires and wishes, by adopting a mindset shift.
Speaking in Lagos, he outlined five critical gaps that need to be filled in the journey of life, and seven distinctions between the rich and the poor. He stressed the importance of prioritising quality over quantity, and selflessness over selfishness, as key principles for personal and collective growth.
Introducing a 5,000-acre Madiba Countryside City located in Obafemi-Owode council area of Ogun State, Emmanuel explained that the project was designed to provide affordable, genuine land and investment opportunities for Nigerians.
Highlighting the need for accessible land ownership, he remarked: “Many people need a chance to own land and houses, but they often lack access to trustworthy companies and affordable options. By acquiring this vast expanse of land, the initiative seeks to empower individuals to secure their financial future through real estate.
He said the Madiba Countryside City would include residential areas, retreat centres and resorts, creating a holistic environment for community living. One of the partners and Chief Executive Officer of Premedos Power, Demedo Emmanuel, underscored he project’s focus on sustainability, noting that the company’s involvement ensures a robust and reliable energy infrastructure.
Also speaking, the co-founder of Pertinence Group, Wisdom Ahamefula Ezekiel, harped on the economic significance of the initiative, urging Nigerians to consider real estate investments amid rising economic challenges.
