Cleric implores govt to learn from Ibadan explosion to prevent reccurrence

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called on the government to take a cue from the Ibadan explosion for necessary measures to prevent a repeat of the incident.

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called on the government to take a cue from the Ibadan explosion for necessary measures to prevent a repeat of the incident.

Speaking on the recent explosion in Ibadan, he said: “Government should put measures in place to prevent fire explosions, gas leakage and unexpected emergencies from being recorded in the country.”

He said that there are spiritual revelations that the government must work assiduously to prevent further explosions and insecurity.

“The government must take necessary measures now against banditry, herdsmen, armed robbers, so that there will be peace.”

He said economically the government needs to do a lot to put measures in place to stop borrowing.

“Apart from this, the government should check inflation to prevent agitation from workers’ for more salaries which will still cause a kind of tribulation.”

He reiterated that there is need for a serious work to be done by the government in order to battle insecurity and hardships that the people are going to experience in 2024.
