He also assured them of Army Headquarters’ support in providing them with logistics and other infrastructure necessary for the successful conduct of the ongoing recruitment screening.

Yahaya commended the Kano State Government for supporting the Nigerian army to improve infrastructure in the fitness centre.

He encouraged and commended the candidates for their determination and zeal to serve in the Nigerian Army to defend their fatherland.

Army spokesperson disclosed in the statement that the exercise was part of effort by Nigerian Army to shore up it manpower.

He said the exercise was being conducted in Falgore to give the potential recruits early exposure to the reality of terrain and weather conditions that they would be confronted with during their training and in the course of their military career.
