The management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, has been dragged before a Benin High Court by one of its contractors, Fata Super System, over alleged breach of agreement on the construction and operating of a printing press complex.

The company is asking that the court, in suit number B/155/16 compel the school to award its printing works, valued at N54.5 million annually for five years, which it said was the terms of agreement on the contract which the school has failed to honour.

The contractor claimed that the school went contrary to the terms of agreement it had in February 22, 2012, by its continuous patronage of other printers “contrary to clauses (5) and (6) of the agreement dated 22nd February 2012”

Fata also wants the court to compel the school to pay him N193.3 million, being the outstanding sum due the claimant for the period of four years from the date the agreement was signed.
