
Its president, Ali Rabiu, said the council had raised engineering education by benchmarking national qualifications against those of countries that have attained international standards.
Rabiu, who disclosed this at the 28th COREN Engineering Assembly yesterday in Abuja, stated that the move was in line with global trend and part of efforts by the council to attain the Provisional Signatory Status of the Washington Accord (WA) under the International Engineering Alliance (IEA).
