Court fixes ruling in Oduah’s suit against AGF, EFCC for Feb. 2
A FEDERAL High Court in Lagos has fixed ruling in a suit filed by the former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, seeking enforcement of her fundamental rights, for February 2.
The judgment, which was fixed for yesterday, could not be delivered due to the transfer of the trial judge, Justice Okon Abang, to Abuja Division. In the suit, the applicant is seeking an order restraining the respondents from probing her over the purchase of two armoured BMW by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority under her watch in 2013.
The applicant averred that the respondents had planned to unleash repression against her, and try her on trumped-up charges.
