Court releases travel documents to Haliru Bello
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja yesterday released the international passport belonging to the former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Haliru Bello, to enable him travel fot medical check-up overseas.
Justice Ahmed Mohammed, who granted the request by the third defendant’s counsel, Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), however directed that the document be returned to the court registrar as soon as Bello returns to the country in May.
Consequently, the hearing was adjourned to May 18 – the date determined by the expected duration of his planned trip.
