court.jpg-citynewsA Wuse Senior Magistrates’ Court, zone 2, Abuja, on Friday discharged a 15-year-old boy, Henry Nehemiah of no fixed address, to Boaster School, Kaduna.

Nehemia, charged with a three-count charge of joint act, housebreaking and theft, pleaded guilty and asked for leniency.

The Magistrate, Binta Mohammed, discharged the accused and ordered that he should be taken to Boaster School, Kaduna, for three years, from June 15, 2015 to June 15, 2018.

She said the accused was still under-age, adding that since he was from Kaduna State, it was better to enrol him in the Boaster School in the state to stop him from committing similar offense in the future.

The Prosecutor, Cpl. Simon Emmanuel, had earlier told the court that Mr Raphael Achia, in company of Nomor Abraham, both of Dape village, Abuja, reported the case at Life Camp Police Station on April 18.

Emmanuel said one Richard Oriwhoria and Justice Oriwhoria of Dape village, who joined Henry Nehemiah to commit the offense, were already charged to Magistrates’ Court, Life Camp, Abuja.

He said the accused conspired with Oriwhoria and broke into the complaints’ room and stole a Plasma TV valued N34,000, GOTV valued N4,500 and N12,000 cash from Mr Raphael Achia.

He said the suspects also stole LG radio valued N20,000, Blackberry phone, N45,000, Techno phone, N5,000, NECO, Bsc and NYSC original certificates and clothes.

The Prosecutor said the accused had during investigation confessed to have committed the offense, which contravened the provisions of Sections 79, 346 and 288 of Penal Code.
