An Abuja Federal High Court has thrown out an application by Senate President Bukola Saraki seeking to halt his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal for an alleged false declaration of assets.

In his judgement on Friday, Judge Abdul Kafarati ruled that the code of Conduct tribunal (CCT) was a legally constituted body whose discharge of duties should not be interfered with by a court.

“This court cannot interfere with the proceedings before the tribunal; it cannot also interfere with the duties of the respondents which have been imposed on them by law,” he said.

Saraki, standing trial on a 13-count charge of false declaration of assets when he was the governor of Kwara State, had approached the court to stop his trial at the tribunal, claiming that the trial violated his fundamental human rights as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution. But the judge disputed Saraki’s claims.

“I find that none of the claims fall within chapter four of the constitution,” he said.

The judge further noted that it would be out of order for his court to grant an application that has already been dismissed by the Court of Appeal.

“If the court grants the application, there will be a conflict with the ruling of the appellate Court. I do not see the need to go to the merit of the case,” the judge ruled.

This man still does not understand that the market is over! Why is he making a mockery of himself and the law that he claims to be leading to make?

Saraki’s time is up. Nigerians can not fold their hands because so far his leadership and aspiration is not in keeping with what is best for Nigerians. We can see what is now happening in the senate where they have decided to work against the government. In other advanced democracy the senate is expected to strengthen government policies in other to ensure good governance but unfortunately that is not the case. It is obvious that most senators are not prepared to enact laws that will move Nigeria forward. Nigerians, are we getting value for money? It is time we all start asking ourselves some hard and self searching questions. .

Watch, Saraki,s houseboy, Dino Maleye will soon pack his bags and leave the crumbling Saraki house. EFCC need to watch that boy call Dino because he has been thief/419er for a long time. He was even trying to steal Oshiomole’s wife by showing off his fleet of exotic cars. When his 419 game did not work, he call woman Tokunbo on newspaper.

Saraki’s House of Cards. He has exhausted all forms of Court Houses to halt his trial, the only option left with him now, since ”the case has already been dismissed by the Court of Appeal” is to seek attention from the Supreme Law Giver. Will God answer him?…It seems the player is far from redemption! Too many cooks spoils the soup…
