CrownPoint International College has awarded scholarships to 26 new students as part of its 5th Matriculation Ceremony.
The event was held alongside the Convocation Ceremony of its partner institution, Kessmond International University, Cameroon.
The ceremony featured the newly inaugurated Board of Trustee, chaired by Dr. Nimi Briggs, who emphasized the institution’s commitment to educational excellence and relevant curriculum.
Dr. Briggs stressed the importance of shaping future leaders through practical skills, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Board members Dr. Michael Vanderpuye and Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere commended the institution’s academic standards and educational philosophy.
Dr. Chinyere also announced sponsorship for the Best Graduating Student, Miss Aisha Mobolajoko, to pursue further studies in Canada.
Founder Dr. Samuel Takon Ojong reflected on the college’s growth, citing initial challenges and the leadership’s commitment to overcoming them.
According to him, the scholarships demonstrate CrownPoint International College’s commitment to quality education and shaping future leaders.
“Our vision emphasized quality education, practical training, and community impact. Over the years the school has expanded its academic programs, offering more diploma and certificate courses across various health disciplines.
“As a new college, public awareness was low, which initially affected student enrollment and institutional visibility, and also the establishment phase was marked by notable challenges. However, the school leadership demonstrated commitment, adaptability, and foresight in overcoming these obstacles.”
