CyesisCare, a digital ultrasound reporting platform developed by Nigerian integrated technology firm HubHouse, is transforming how medical professionals manage diagnostic data, tackling long-standing challenges with delays, inconsistent reporting, and limited access to patient records.
Designed specifically for clinicians, obstetricians, gynaecologists, fertility specialists, and other healthcare professionals, CyesisCare enables precise and consistent management of early pregnancy cases and related diagnostic needs. From assessing foetal growth and investigating first-trimester bleeding to conducting infertility follow-ups, the platform provides clear, standardised reports that support timely, well-informed clinical decisions.
Since its launch, CyesisCare has been adopted by dozens of hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres across more than ten Nigerian states, processing over 100,000 ultrasound reports. These reports span a wide range of use cases, including early pregnancy, pelvic assessments, complex abdominopelvic scans, and obstetric diagnostics.
This shift towards digital diagnostics comes at a crucial time, as Nigeria’s healthcare system faces growing pressure to improve efficiency and patient outcomes, especially in underserved and high-volume facilities.
“Our vision has always been to empower healthcare professionals with the right tools to make faster, more confident decisions that directly improve patient outcomes,” said Michael Ogidi, Chief Executive Officer, HubHouse. “We developed CyesisCare to address the bottlenecks we kept hearing about – delays in getting results, inconsistent reporting formats, and difficulty accessing previous scans. By digitising and standardising the process, we’re not only reducing turnaround times but also making it easier for teams to collaborate, whether in the same hospital or across different locations.”
Data from hospitals using CyesisCare show a reduction in average report turnaround times from 36 hours to under 30 minutes, alongside a forty per cent decrease in reporting errors. In obstetric and emergency units, clinicians report quicker follow-up and intervention for high-risk cases, including early detection of ectopic pregnancies and complex cysts.
The platform securely stores diagnostic data on a compliant cloud system, giving healthcare providers access to historical scan records from any device. This enhances continuity of care and facilitates collaboration across specialities.
Beyond clinical impact, hospitals have also seen operational and financial gains. Some facilities report significant annual revenue growth from improved patient throughput, as well as savings on paper and storage costs.
The adoption of CyesisCare reflects a wider movement in Nigeria’s healthcare sector towards digital health innovation and modernised service delivery. HubHouse plans to continue collaborating with providers to refine the platform and expand access across West Africa.
