THE International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa will hold in Dakar, Senegal, on November 9 and 10 under the High Patronage of President of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Macky Sall. This second edition of the forum will bring together more than 500 high level stakeholders: heads of state and government leaders, ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense ministers, military officials, representatives from regional and international institutions, experts, academics, think-tanks and members of the private sector.

Media Relations Officer for the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, Vincent Ricciardi, said: “A dozen of workshops will be dedicated to topical issues related to the decisive security-related challenges in Africa and their impact at the international level, with a focus on the operational and most concrete aspects (terrorism, piracy, immigration, and so on).

The forum will provide the opportunity to exchange with the highest political authorities and enable the participants to hold informal discussions.
