Daystar Christian Centre, one of Nigeria’s churches known for its transformational teachings, is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a thanksgiving, testimonies, and special events across its Lagos State centres and global online platforms.

Senior Pastor Sam Adeyemi, while reflecting on the church’s journey, said God gave him a revelation in 1994 to teach Biblical success principles that would transform lives.

Daystar, since its founding in 1995 by Pastors Sam and Nike Adeyemi, had become a global faith community, helping thousands discover their potential and lead with purpose.

The Deputy Senior Pastor, Nike Adeyemi, said that the anniversary would not just be a celebration of history but also a time to honour God’s faithfulness and prepare for the next 30 years of impact.

She urged members and partners worldwide to share testimonies of how Daystar has influenced their lives through initiatives, such as the Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA), Daystar Skills Acquisition Programme (DSAP), and Daystar Business Academy (DBA).

“From its Lagos headquarters, Daystar has expanded its reach globally, with members connecting online from Africa, Europe, North America, and other parts of the world. Its influence extends beyond the pulpit, touching lives through leadership training, youth empowerment, business development, and community transformation.

“Our role models are everywhere, with churches, organisations and nations shining the light of Christ. This celebration is about glorifying God for every life transformed and recommitting ourselves to the work ahead,” Adeyemi said.

The celebration, scheduled for Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025, will feature worship services, stories of life transformation, and a special thanksgiving event. The milestone marks three decades of the church’s mission to raise role models and empower individuals to make a lasting impact in their families, workplaces, and communities.

The anniversary is expected to attract thousands of worshippers in person and millions more online, as Daystar Christian Centre commemorates three decades of inspiring change and raising godly leaders across the world.
