Nigerian human rights lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has been appointed to the Board of the Katutu Civil Rights Center, an international civil rights organisation headquartered in New York City.
The appointment is being viewed as recognition of Adeyanju’s years of advocacy for democracy, civil liberties, and social justice in Nigeria and across Africa.
Adeyanju, known for his outspoken activism and involvement in several civic campaigns, has remained a prominent voice on issues relating to governance, accountability, human rights, and citizens’ freedoms.
