In a statement issued by its Acting Secretary, Mr. Chris Onokpegu and signed by the Coordinator, Mr. Benjamin Ubiri, the group specifically urged the Delta State Governor, Mr. Sheriff Oborevwori, National Assembly members, and the appointed minister representing the state to transcend the adversarial postures often associated with electoral contests.

The Forum consequently admonished Governor Oborevwori to rise above the electoral dynamics and collaborate across party boundaries to foster required development in the state.

Ubiri said: “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, for securing victory at the tribunal. This outcome serves as an affirmation of the mandate granted to him by the citizens of Delta State. Additionally, the tribunal’s validation reaffirms the integrity of the electoral process during the February elections.”

It also extended its felicitations to Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN), on his appointment as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace. The Forum interpreted Keyamo’s reappointment as a testament to his unwavering dedication to public service.

Mr. Ubiri stated: “We take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Festus Keyamo, (SAN), for his well-deserved appointment as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace. We also commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Mr. Keyamo’s commitment and rewarding his dedication.”
