BAYELSA State Governor Henry Seriake Dickson has enjoined Muslim faithful to pray for peace in Nigeria and the success of the governments at the state and federal levels, as that is the only way the governments can bring about the much needed development to all parts and crannies of the state and country.

He also charged them to continue to live in peace with the adherents of other religions, noting that all religions are one and important; hence his administration would continue to give equal recognition to all of them.
 
His Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Daniel Iworiso-Markson, who quoted the governor expressed appreciation to the Muslim community in the state for their prayers, encouragement and support.
 
While congratulating them for observing and completing their mandatory Ramadan fast, Dickson encouraged them to see Bayelsa as home, do their businesses and live peacefully with everyone and work with all security agencies in the state to ensure the sustenance of the existing peace.
