Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has lamented the diversion of security funds earmarked to tackle insecurity to private pockets.

Dogara while speaking at a Christmas service at his hometown, Gwarangah, in Bogoro Local Council Area of Bauchi State, said the damage done to the nation’s economy by the last administration was beyond quantification, stressing,‎ “It is not something we should talk about because it is beyond imagination.”

According to him, Nigeria is faced with many challenges “but thank God we now have a leader, who has good intentions and will fix Nigeria’s problems.”

Dogara said Nigeria’s latest crop of leaders would fix the country’s multiple challenges because they emerged as a result of prayers from both Christians and Moslems in the country.
