Duke explodes in The Interview rollout
To be published by Banc & All, an Abuja-based content and publishing company every month, its major stories are rendered in question and answer style.
The maiden edition headlines among other premium content, an interview with former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, in which he speaks about two former Nigerian presidents- Umaru Yar’ Adua and Goodluck Jonathan-and sounds a note of warning to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It also features a no-holds-barred interview with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Channels TV, Mr. John Momoh, the world of virtual and augmented reality and Nigerian Icon List.
In a statement yesterday, its Managing Director and Editor-In-Chief, Mr. Azu Ishiekwene, said The Interview would provide “answers and solutions to questions that affect the wellbeing and aspirations of its readers in a style and language that fit their busy lifestyles.”
“It would be a magazine that consumers, especially young professionals, can connect with and to which they can look to for answers on burning issues. Our aim is to be retailers of premium content and a strong catalyst for sharing,” added.
In a pre-rollout comment, journalism professor at Bradley University, Peoria, Illiinois and foremost satirist, Olatunji Dare, said the magazine “deserves to be well-received.”
Journalist and former publisher of Citizen magazine and columnist, Mohammeed Haruna,, described the debut edition as “simply great”.
The founder and CEO of Cable Newspaper Limited, Mr. Simeon Kolawole said “The Interview arrived on the scene in time to douse the growing belief that there is no more room in the ‘Inn’.”
