Edo indigenes salute Benin monarch on birth of new prince

Edo Progressive Indigenes Association (EPIA) yesterday rejoiced with His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, and the Royal Palace of Benin on the birth of a new prince.

Edo Progressive Indigenes Association (EPIA) yesterday rejoiced with His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, and the Royal Palace of Benin on the birth of a new prince.

The organisation welcomed the new addition to the Royal Family, noting that Edo people rejoice with the Oba and the palace.

In a message signed by the president of EPIA, Bishop Omogiade Edokpolo, he stated, “It is with a great pleasure that we at home and in the diaspora congratulate His Royal Majesty on the new addition to the Royal family. We are very delighted with our Oba and the whole Royal Palace and pray that the majesty and greatness of Benin Kingdom continue to grow in leaps and bounds.

We also by this pray for better days for Edo people the world over as we all rejoice with the Royal family,” he said.
