Entrepreneur commits to expanding opportunities within hospitality sector

Concerned about bridging the gap in Nigeria’s entertainment, hospitality and sports sectors; and creating direct and indirect jobs, Chief Executive Officer Angel’s Park and Event Centre, Mr. Alalibo Miebaka Solon, has unveiled a recreation centre in Owode Langbasa area of Lagos.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the centre, Solon stated that the project would promote economic development including contributing to the growth of ancillary businesses, as well as the expansion of the country’s entertainment and hospitality sectors.

“The amazing facility accommodates a diverse range of events. The facility is an affordable, flexible event space, committed to environmental and social sustainability,” Solon said.

As a civil engineer, he disclosed that building the centre took him 10 years.

Solon appreciated Oba Hafeez Olakunle Badiru, other royal fathers and dignitaries for gracing the occasion.

“I am very grateful for the kind gesture. I also appreciate my wonderful and beautiful wife for her huge support,” he added.

Speaking at the event, His Royal Majesty, Oba Hafeez Olakunle Badiru, Elejigbo of Lagbansa Kingdom, said the centre is a significant milestone for Nigeria’s hospitality and entertainment scene.

He prayed for good business deals that will bring employment opportunities for the youth, boost economic activities and improve lifestyle.

Badiru maintained that the community is ready to support viable and healthy businesses.

The Manager of Angel’s Centre and Park, Mr Justify Obi, said the event centre is easily accessible from anywhere in the city, making it a convenient choice for a wide range of events.
