MICHAEL Essien rejects QPR move… because he doesn’t want to play against former club Chelsea
The former Blues midfielder has also turned down West Brom as he embarks on a search for a new club from this summer
Essien snubbed QPR and West Brom, as he could not stomach playing for Chelsea’s west London rivals.
Essien, 32, spent nine years with Chelsea before joining AC Milan a year ago and will be out of contract this summer.
His agent Fabien Piveteau said: “Essien doesn’t want to play in the Premier League for a different side to his old club Chelsea.
“We have turned down offers from both West Brom and QPR.”
