FG moves to strengthen projects tracking, monitoring systems
The Federal Government has said that it has put additional measures in place to ensure efficient tracking system for projects monitoring and evaluation in the country.
According to the Minister of State for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Clem Ikanade Agba, plans are underway to develop and strengthen the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), frameworks that will support delivery, tracking and reporting of policies promoting women’s economic empowerment in line with Nigeria’s Medium-Term National Development Plan 2021-2025.
In a communiqué from a one-day symposium on: ‘What Works and Success Factors In Managing Women’s Economic Programmes In Nigeria,’ organised by the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, the Development Research and Projects Centre, (DRPC), with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Abuja.
