A firm empowering Africa’s youths through Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology-driven learning, InternSify Africa Limited, has signed a charter with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy through the 3 Million Technical Talent Programme (3MTT) with the aim of employing 3,000 youths across the 36 states.
The 3 Million Technical Talent Programme (3MTT) is a Federal Government initiative implemented by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of InternSify Africa Limited, Julius Osilamah, who disclosed the charter to The Guardian yesterday in Lagos, said that through this initiative, 3,000 Nigerian youths would have the opportunity to launch their career, get employed, and earn N150,000 monthly.
According to Osilamah, under this initiative, youths will be deployed to various senior and junior secondary schools across the country to teach Federal Government-accredited technical skills like Programming (Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS), Data Science Basics, AI and Robotics, Digital Entrepreneurship, Cybersecurity, Certified Ethical Hacking, CompTIA Security, and Solar Energy Technology. Other skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Research, Coding (Python Basics and Advanced Scratch), and Robotics (Basic Kits).
He also explained that youths who already have any of these skills will be employed and deployed immediately, while those without any of these skills will be trained for a month by Internsify before being posted.
According to Osilamah, over 157 graduates have been engaged so far, while 94 secondary schools across the country have come on board, urging more schools and school owners to take advantage of the initiative.
