Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and Africa Player of the Year Ademola Lookman have each been gifted plots of land in Abuja by Jedo Investment Company Ltd in recognition of their outstanding achievements in football.
The 400 square metre plots, located within the Jedo Mega Estate in Ushafa, Abuja, were donated by the estate development firm as a gesture of appreciation for the athletes’ contributions to Nigerian and African football.
In a letter signed by Anthony Onwuma, General Manager for Human and Business Relations, the company commended Nnadozie for her stellar performance at the recently concluded 13th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
“Your efforts not only helped secure the championship but also served as a shining example of dedication and excellence for millions of Nigerians and football lovers around the world,” the company wrote.
Speaking on Lookman’s recognition, Jedo Investment highlighted his rise as a global football talent.
He said, “Your outstanding performance, resilience, and excellence on the pitch have not only brought immense pride to Nigeria but have also cemented your position as one of the finest in the world today. Your achievement is a testament to hard work, discipline, and an unyielding commitment to excellence—values that resonate deeply with our brand.”
Nnadozie, who was recently crowned Africa’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the second consecutive time, was also named Best Goalkeeper of the 13th WAFCON. Her performances over the past three years in European club football have drawn widespread acclaim.
In addition to the land gifts, both Nnadozie and Lookman have been appointed as Brand Ambassadors for Jedo Investment Company.
