Amidst efforts to revolutionise sustainable urban development and conservation in the country, a firm, Mobus Property Nigeria Limited, has unveiled its tree-planting initiative, tagged

“Project Green,” with the planting of 1500 trees across the country.

Speaking at the flag-off of the project yesterday in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer, of Mobus Properties, Kojo Ansah Mensah, stated that the 1500 trees donated by the America Tower Company (ATC), were aimed at tackling the challenges posed by rapid urbanisation while safeguarding Nigeria’s precious natural resources, creating an eco-friendly urban landscape, and setting new standards for the real estate industry.

He said: “At the heart of Project Green lies a united front of esteemed stakeholders, driven by a shared commitment to protect the environment and promote sustainable real estate development for a greener, brighter future.”

Ansah added that Mobus, renowned for championing eco-friendly practices in the real estate sector, leads this transformative endeavour.

He also commended key partners and other stakeholders for keying into the vision, emphasising that the project was not just about providing beautiful places to live but also about creating a conservation-friendly environment that will benefit generations to come.

“I want to thank the Nigeria Conservation Foundation, FCDA, American Tower Company, the government, and everyone present at this event for their unwavering support to make “Project Green” a reality.

The representative of the America Tower Company, Karo Akaba, said: “We are proud to donate 1500 seedlings to Mobus Properties’ development at Riverpark Estate. This donation is our contribution to keeping the environment green and ensuring its sustainability.”

Highlighting the pivotal role of the Nigeria Conservation Foundation (NCF) in the initiative, the Zonal Coordinator of NCF, Muhammad Boyi, said that the project will not only protect the environment from erosion but also provide valuable economic benefits.

Also, the Creative Director of Ngage Media Global, Ifiokobong Ating, expressed hopes for the future, saying that he believes the project will inspire other real estate companies in Abuja and across Nigeria to champion environmental advocacy within the real estate industry.
