First Lady ascribes stable health to divine intervention

The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has ascribed her stable health during her husband’s eight years in office to divine intervention.

Mrs Jonathan stated this on Sunday at a farewell service organised for the First Family at the Aso Villa Chapel in Abuja.

“I was taken to Germany for a major surgical procedure during the campaign rallies for the just concluded elections.

“I went to four different hospitals while in Germany for tests and they returned a verdict that it was no longer necessary to do the surgery,’’ she said.
