Flutterwave’s cross-border remittance solution, Send App, has unveiled Send App Postcards, a new feature that transforms users’ remittance activity into visual, shareable digital stories—a personalized year-in-review experience.
Global remittances are often discussed in terms of volumes and foreign exchange, a perspective that overlooks the human side: the emotions, sacrifices, and commitments behind every transfer. Send App Postcards shifts the focus from transactions to people, highlighting the deeply personal stories behind the money sent.
From tuition fees and medical emergencies to weddings and thoughtful “thinking of you” gestures, the campaign illustrates how remittances carry love, responsibility, and lasting impact.
Harvey Bahia, Head of SendApp Business at Flutterwave, said:
“Sending money home is often a quiet act of love. We wanted to make some noise for our users, moving beyond transaction receipts to celebrate the love and care that defines supporting loved ones across borders.
With Postcards, we are helping users visualise the real impact of the money they sent in 2025—the lives they touched and the connections they sustained.”
The Postcards feature is available directly within the Send App on Android and iOS. Users can view, save, and share their Postcards, which include a “Worth of Love” metric summarizing the total amount sent in 2025, alongside personalized sender badges like The Hero, The Rain Maker, The Globalist, The Heart Stopper, and The Steady Supporter.
By turning a year’s worth of transactions into personal stories, Send App Postcards celebrates diaspora life and the responsibilities carried across borders, especially for Africans living abroad in the UK, US, and Europe, who play a vital role in supporting families and communities back home.
