Towards promoting quality education for indigent students of Oza-nogogo community, President, Oza-nogogo Elite Foundation, Mr. Bernard Oriakhi has reiterated the need for students to embrace reading culture, describing as alarming and on the increase in the community.

Oriakhi raised concerned over the poor reading culture and truancy among students in the community, adding that it has become imperative to invest in the lives of the students by donating academic materials to the schools in the area.

He said the foundation’s donation was to improve the reading culture among students and promote academic activities in the community,

Oriakhi, who donated over 3000 writing materials to indigenous students in Oza-nogogo community in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, said the gesture is part of efforts to contribute to the educational development of the nation and encouraging learning amongst them.
