GKS Leader Cautions Politicians Against Stealing
CHAIRMAN, Executive Board of the God’s Kingdom Society, (GKS) Warri, Delta State, Mr Godwin Ifeacho, has warned politicians and all those in authority against diversion of public funds for personal welfare, even as he said such act would attract the wrath of God.
Speaking at the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles of the church, which started last Sunday and is expected to end tomorrow, Ifeacho said it was sheer wickedness for politicians to to grab everything to themselves, such that monies that God has provided for the benefit of everybody remain in the hands of a few persons.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the church, Mr Benedict Hart, the chairman said the hardships Nigerians are currently going through are man-made and not acts of God, even as he called on those in power to avoid covetousness and be content with what they have.
The GKS leader, who was commenting on the subjects discussed that day, “The Blessings in Celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles” and “God’s Kingdom: A Perfect Government” pointed out that human efforts, since the dawn of civilisation, have failed to solve world problems, asserting that it is only God Almighty who can bring true peace and security to the world.
According to him, the God’s Kingdom Society, like any other true church in any part of the world, is part of God’s universal kingdom, now gathering like a mustard seed until the devil and his hosts are destroyed by God, adding that only the faithful would remain on earth to serve Him forever in perfect peace and happiness.

For long the pastors and imams have warned politicians to stop thieving. But it fell on deaf ears.Is something wrong with our religious operations or is something wrong with politicians or something spiritually wrong with the nation? These politicians surely belong to one religious congregation or another. Yet they dont hear their pastors and imams
We will review and take appropriate action.
