On February 6, 2025, the Glory Lucas Foundation held Day 2 of its mental health campaign at Falomo Senior High School, Ikoyi. The event focused on raising awareness and providing students with valuable tools for managing mental health.

CEO, Expensive Lucas opened the session, Introducing the foundation and the #Projectfeedamind campaign; a timeless and intensive Mental Heath sensitization program spanning across an initial phase of 3 months. She proceeded to address the eager students on managing mental health challenges like anxiety and depression and shared an emergency contact number—112—for those in crisis.
Psychologist Esther Akinola was the guest speaker, explaining the importance of mental health and how it impacts emotions and daily life. She highlighted key signs of mental health struggles, including persistent sadness, difficulty concentrating and withdrawal from social activities. Esther stressed that emotions are valid and encouraged students to seek help when needed. She also led a breathing exercise session to help students manage stress.
Key highlights of the event included, Interactive Learning: Basics of mental health and its importance.
Q&A Session: Students engaged with the speakers in an open dialogue.
Positivity Jar: A jar filled with uplifting notes to brighten students’ moods.
Awards and Recognition: Students were rewarded with cash prizes and gifts to encourage responsiveness and attention.
