Grace Adigun needs financial assistance for corrective surgeries

One-year-old Adigun Grace Oluwadarasimi needs financial assistance for corrective surgeries. She has a hole-in-the heart and cleft lip.

A medical report signed by a Consultant Paediatrician, Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Dr. B.A. Animasahun, read: “The patient was presented with a cleft lip, fast and difficult breathing, recurrent fever and cough. On examination, she is small for age, acyanosed, in respiratory distress.

“Cardiovascular examination revealed a heart rate of 148 beats/min. Apex beat at the fourth left intercostals space mid-clavicular line. First and second heart sound with grade 3/6 pan systolic murmur loudest at left lower sternal border. She is currently on anti-failure drugs and she will benefit from cardiac surgery.
