THE General Coordinator of CCC Unification and Renaissance Mission, Pepe Asebiomo and his group have hailed the judgment delivered by Justice A.O Asenuga of the Ilaro High Court that the 1980 Constitution of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) has not been validly amended to take care of the lacuna in the Constitution of the Church.

The judgment, which was delivered recently, overruled the purported amendment of the Constitution of CCC after the death of the Pastor/Founder, Rev. Prophet S.B.J Oshoffa, which led to chaos and emergence of factional heads as “Pastors” of the church.

Asebiomo said that with the judgment, there is no Pastor in the CCC worldwide.

“There will not be any until we have a convocation of a world committee. Those factional heads parading themselves as Pastors of the Church

worldwide should stop forthwith as they will be in contempt of court pronouncement.

“With regards to Ilaro High Court’s judgment, which did not proclaim any of the contenders as Pastor, all anointment of CCC’s members worldwide should be stopped forthwith and members are enjoined to stop taking anointment from anyone now, as doing so will be in contempt of the court pronouncement,” he said.

He urged all members of CCC worldwide to cooperate with the Unification Group and the Transitional Elders’ Council to ensure that lasting peace returns to the Church in Nigeria, to enable them enthrone constitutional order and Diocesan Governing Council leading to the establishment of the World Governing Council.
