An Ogun State-based socio-political group, Ogun Grassroots Development Awareness Forum has called on the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun to sustain the culture of prudence, innovation and accountability in the management of the state’s finance, which was one of the hallmarks of his administration.

The group stressed that this was one of the ways through which he would remain eternally relevant in the history of the state.

The group, while lauding Amosun on the culture of prudence, also described the immediate past Commissioner for Finance in Ogun state and one of the ministerial nominees, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, who awaits screening of the National Assembly, as an innovation-driven goal getter that Nigeria needs in her march to a new culture of governance that is based on integrity and performance.

Speaking to journalists in Lagos, Chairman of the Forum, Adekunle Abegunde, said Adeosun’s achievements stand tall as an important member of Amosun’s crack team of experts and technocrats, whose invaluable contributions in the first term catapulted the state on the national development index.
