Kemi-AdeosunA civil right group, Assembly for the Protection of Ondo Agenda (APOA) and Oodua Youth Assembly 0YA) have charged the Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun to be focused as she settles down in her new assignment and refuse to be distracted by any ill-borne criticism.

The minister was particularly charged to redouble her efforts much more than she did when she occupied the same office in Ogun State, to prove her critics wrong.

The groups in separate statements yesterday, condemned what they considered to be ill-comment by the Vanguard Newspaper columnist, Donu Kogbara, whom they said never hid her dislike for the new Finance Minister.

APOA’s coordinator, Henry Oladunjoye in the statement said the group, “noted with utter dismay the un-provoked pulling down of the minister by the columnist, expression of un-restrained hopelessness in the minister and writing her off even when she was yet to take off and without any form of interaction with her.”

Oladunjoye who accused Kogbara of playing God, sought to know what she intended to achieve when she said, “There is a widespread consternation about the appointment of Kemi Adeosun, the new Minister of Finance.
