A GROUP, Diaspora Organisation Europe (NIDOE), has urged the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, to appoint credible team of persons in his cabinet in the next four years.

This call was made in a press release signed by the organisation Chairman, Dr. George Manuwuike and the Public Relations and Media Officer, Mr. Adeleke Ogunkoya.

The group, which stated that the fate of millions of Nigerians at home and abroad lie on the responsibilities and progress of his team and governance, believes that our nation can move forward and be entrusted to Buhari because of his pedigree.

The organisation, which consists of 10 chapters across different parts of Europe, has declared its readiness to support and willingness to work with the in-coming administration in every capacity that will further aid sustainable development in all sphere of governance.

In a similar view, the group has also commended President Goodluck Jonathan, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), all the security agencies and Nigerians generally for providing a level-playing ground for free and fair elections to become an integral part of our democratic process, saying democracy has matured under Jonathan more than any other period before and Nigerians are indebted to him for his show of sportsmanship in averting the tendency to subvert the will of the people with the attendant bloodshed and unrest.
